I am looking to meet people who are after genuine friendships and aren't just out for going partying all the time. I enjoy going for drinks, and benders every now and then, but I much prefer to be surrounded by good conversation, nice food and wine etc etc.
My story for joining vervah is I am out of a long term relationship where we'd known each other for 13 years and been together for 5 yrs. We were living together, engaged, and the wedding was all planned, everything was fine, so it was all very unexpected when I found out about his cheating ways, as I thought he was my soulmate. It was horrible at the time, But... as they always say, onwards and upwards. I'm working through it and getting better each day and moving on with my life.. Which is all I can do :) As you can see I'm not the most private person, but that's who I am, what you see is what you get :) No point in pretending to be someone else.
I have some great friends who I treasure, but am always keen to expand my circle! I would have been lost without this site, because the people I have met are truly amazing.
I'm a nice person, friendly, easygoing, well-travelled, outgoing, crack crappy jokes, and like a good conversation, and good company! I have a cheeky sense of humour, am genuine, and love to have a good laugh. I have also recently started a health kick and am receiving personal training from a fantastic personal trainer who is on Vervah. She is really motivating me and helping me with my goals! Have a long way to go, but I'm actually learning to like exercise now!
I do enjoy heading out to a good club every now and then with a good group of people, but am kinda over that scene. I enjoy my food and drinks and chilling. I'm a bit of a book worm too, and love losing myself in a great book. Particularly addicted to the Twilight series!
I like to go and have coffee, dinner, movies, shopping, play tennis and golf, and generally hanging out, that kinda thing. Anything that involves food and good company and great conversation.
I also LOVE ten pin bowling and mini golf. Basically willing to give anything a go :)

Looking For: Genuine people don't really care what age or sex. I don't believe friendship shouldn't be based on age. Looking for down to earth and mature people to be friends with that can carry on a decent conversation who are also looking for a genuine friendship. Like hanging around with people who have a good sense of humour and are caring, friendly, and enjoy social activities and heading out and doing things! I am looking for quality, not excessive quantity.
